Accessibility
Built to work for everyone.
Last updated October 27, 2026
VanreHealth is a concept project, built with accessibility in mind from the start. Our aim is WCAG 2.2 level AA. The site hasn't been independently audited, so we don't claim full conformance.
What's in place
- Real buttons, links and form fields, with labels, and headings in a logical order.
- Everything works with a keyboard. In the stress check you can press 1 to 5 to choose an answer and Enter to go on.
- When the stress check or booking moves to a new step, focus moves to the new heading and the step is announced to screen readers.
- Form errors are shown next to the field they belong to, in words as well as colour.
- Text and background colours were chosen to meet WCAG AA contrast.
- Buttons and answer options have touch targets of at least 44px.
- If your device asks for reduced motion, animations are turned off and changes happen instantly.
- Layouts adapt down to 360px wide without sideways scrolling.
Known limitations
- The stress check and booking need JavaScript.
- Testing so far has been in Chrome, with a keyboard and automated checks. The site hasn't yet been tested by people using screen readers or other assistive technology.
